Between 23-27 November 2009 we attended the Big 5 Show Dubai. This year the show was a real success despite the global and local crisis.
550companies over 45 countries were respresented at the Show. With the organization of IGEME, 72 Turkish companies are attended the exhibition.
What makes this region a unique opportunity?
The Gulf region remains a strategically important area of the world with over 65% of the world’s oil reserves. The main trading block in the region is the Gulf Coorporation Council (GCC) comprising Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar
To the north of the Gulf are Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria where there are large scale developments to house the increasing population along with substantial investments going into infrastructure.
Across the Arabian Sea are Iran and the Indian sub-continent. All these areas have enormous commercial potential and they all trade with the GCC states.
